Over 350 architecture and design students from across New Zealand have designed and fabricated 16 installations, using laser beams, projectors, balloons and fabric suspended from demolition cranes, to create the illusion of an urban city centre around the red zone in Christchurch. The event was part of the world’s first Festival of Transitional Architecture.
There were some performances all night long: music bands to circus performances. A great way to spend a night in a resilient city.
